What's your sleep plan?

How do you sleep? Great? Ok? So-so? Not at all? In these extraordinary circumstances, creating healthy habits and waking up rested every day can seem like an impossible achievement. But I’m here to tell you that it’s not.

Growing up in Denmark, the connection between sleep and happiness is deeply ingrained into my personal DNA. In Scandinavia, we’ve always known that waking up well is one of the most important keys to personal wellness, balance, and performance.

Good sleep makes our body stronger and it is well known to not only boost our immune system but make us happier as individuals. Quality sleep is essential to be able to function, and your brain and body stay active while you sleep. Recent studies also find that sleep plays an important role in removing the toxins in your brain that build up while you are awake, and without proper sleep, you will not be able to get rid of them.

But luckily, even during a crisis - great sleep actually is something that can be achieved, every day.

During my time as a personal Sleep Consultant and Creative Director for the world’s most exclusive mattress company, I constantly worked to create new platforms to help individuals and families achieve better health through better sleep. But I always felt that the next step in sleep advice was not connected to a specific brand or product - rather as a holistic approach to every individual, every family member, and their particular needs and goals. Because sleep isn’t primarily about products, but about habits.

My goal with The Sleep Plan is to help everyone achieve optimal sleep - and it starts by a tailored personal video consultation, where we explore everything from your routines, your habits, your struggles and goals to more physical things like injuries, pain profiles and even the layout of your bedroom. I look at your (and your family members) specific needs and then tailor the perfect plan - just for you. Because what works for you, may not work for someone else - and with something as important as sleep, shouldn’t you have access to a plan that takes your specific situation into consideration?

Your plan can include things such as looking at recommendations for a new mattress or sleep specific products, yes, but more importantly, it will focus on helping you with energy, routines, nutritional advice, mindfulness, movement, and whatever is right for you in your situation. Whatever the plan ends up being, it is YOUR plan. I am so happy to be able to help so many different kinds of people, and I hope to help you too!

I am here for you and can not wait to help you so you can start sleeping better and to wake up strong, amazing, and as ready for life you deserve to be - every day.

Stay Safe & Be Well.
